Parmigiani Fleurier started in 1996 in Val-de-Travers. Founder Michel Parmigiani founded the brand back in 1976 through his work reviving watchmaking inventions. and detailed knowledge about mechanical watches and watches from the past. The Parmigiani Restoration Workshop worked with the Sandoz family to restore the Musée d’Horlogerie du Locle’s Maurice Yves Sandoz Room collection, which eventually led to the founding of the Parmigiani Fleurier Company, owned by the Sandoz Foundation.
In 2016, Parmigiani Fleurier launched Hippologia, a 55 kg oval table clock encased in platinum foil. and created in collaboration with French glass maker Lalique. In December 2020, Parmigiani Fleurier signed a collaboration with Giorgio Armani to create the Giorgio Armani Fine Watches collection, which is expected to launch by the end of 2021. In January 2021, Guido Terreni replaced Davide Traxler as C. Company EO
Parmigiani sells men's wristwatches. and women's wristwatches. All Parmigiani Fleurier watches are handmade. It took at least four hundred hours to assemble. These watches are created only from precious metals. and precious or semi-precious stones To ensure exclusivity, only a few thousand pieces are produced per year. Their line of watches includes the Toric, Forma (renamed Kalpa), and the single watch Bugatti 370.
In 2006, the Bugatti 370 received the “Watch of the Year” award from the Japanese media. This is a driving watch based on the Bugatti Veyron supercar, designed to look like a transverse engine. and is set in 18 karat gold so it can be read while driving. The dial of the watch was therefore positioned vertically on the front of the case. The first Bugatti watch was given to car enthusiast Ralph Lauren. Only one hundred and fifty watches will be produced each year. There are 55 each dial color to choose from in three colors. This watch costs $200,000. In 2009, Parmigiani Fleurier and Italian yacht company Pershing announced that they would be offering the first Pershing Aquatic sports watch. The watch will be available in two different lines – one- one-five limited edition and Pershing Chronographs collection. The watches are available with either rubber or steel straps. and is waterproof to a depth of 200 meters.
